What a great sounding vocal, song and track! This is very impressive, from the stellar production, soulful and expressive vocal and very sophisticated structural song elements. This song bodes very well for the future in terms of getting wider recognition. American Idol has nothing on you! Very contemporary overall sound, that could cross I think between traditional R&B/pop and Gospel. Not an easy bridge to cross but I think this does it. Fantastic, you should feel great about this!

Everyday to-and-from work I listen to DREAMS, it is an empowering song, so dynamically, lyrically and musically written. I can see Char's heart, feel her testimony and hear her passion. I also love the back-up parts -- it really flows and SINGS wonderfully! It has that crossover. It's really good!

Char McAllister is a singer/songwriter/producer/recording artist and entrepreneur. She has been singing since the age of six. Her name literally means "singer, song, delight."
Born in Jamaica West Indies, at age ten she moved with her family to the USA. While living in New York City her love for Music & Arts was nurtured. At sixteen her family relocated to Pittsburgh, PA where she advanced in her music career. In 1997 she released her debut recording "Chosen To Be Blessed" on the independent label, JuDavida Music Group, which featured her original music. Char has traveled extensively across the country singing in major events. Her music has been spotlighted on radio stations across the country. With increasing exposure she was voted "Pittsburgh's 1999 Best Gospel Performer" at the WAMO (Sheridan Broadcasting Network) annual awards ceremony. She has performed on internationally televised programs. In 2000 Char recorded a Christmas Special featuring her "Family Christmas" CD. The live recording aired on BET and the Inspiration Network. In 2001 she relocated to Chicago IL after being offered a business opportunity which would advance her career. She then released her single "Favor" with two bonus trax in celebration of all God is doing in her life. During that transition she attended Willow Creek Community Church in Barrington IL, which is one of the worlds leading churches and was honored to have the opportunity to be one of the key Praise & Worship Leaders. BUT God, knowing all things, knew His daughter was in need of an emotional healing. He carried her to the back side of the desert where she went through her wilderness experience. "I have fallen crazy in love with The One, The Only, The True and Living God. He is the melody in my song."
Char is now back on the saddle. Her desire is to mend broken hearts through her music as well as celebrate the gift of life. Char's latest hit single "Dreams" released in 2006, is making a major impact. She was inspired to write "Dreams" after experiencing a very disappointing setback in her music career. Instead of giving up she continued to promote her music independently. With passion she encourages and inspires others to pursue their dreams.
