About Me

Myspace Backgrounds
Marlon T. Martin, radio personality and ordained Elder, has worked in the communications field since 1992, beginning his career while a student at Washington & Jefferson College and had an opportunity to work on the college radio station WXJX. He worked at WAMO for an extensive time, WORD-FM, WPGR, and WGBN. In January 2006 he returned to WAMO, and hosts the #1 Gospel music program in the city of Pittsburgh, "Sunday Gospel."Brother Marlon answered the call to ministry in 1998 under the tutelage of his Pastor, Bishop Duane E. Youngblood, Th. D. He is very passionate about the call of God on his life and accepts the challenge daily to send forth the sound of the kingdom of God, to reach the lost, and edify the saints...He has been called for such a time as this to saturate the airwaves with that sound of the Kingdom of God.Brother Marlon belives people do not always have to take the hard road in life to learn! His prayer is that young people today will listen to his testimony, and not go down some of the same roads he has had to travel...only to end up where the Lord wanted him in the beginning...but man what I went through on the journey! He is also very passionate about sharing the knowledge the Lord has blessed him with to help anyone along the way. He says, "Never forget what you've gone through and where you come from. Because once you forget, you can't help anyone else get where they need to be." He is allowing the Lord to lead and guide his every step.He is the husband of Ellise D. Martin, and the father of Marlon, II (Sean), and Jason Martin...the couple is proud to announce the arrival of their son Ephraim Douglas Duane born on June 22, 2007.The couple also operate Marlee Communications which houses several businesses and ventures for the Kingdom of God: Elite Imaging - graphic design, Elite Travel 4 Less - for all of your travel needs...elitetravel4less.net, In His Name Productions - outreach and events, MTM Enterprises - Marlon's Personal Ministry, and The Fragrance Tree - Body Oils, and more...One of his favorite scriptures is Psalm 34:1, "I will bless the Lord at all times, and his praises shall continually be in my mouth." Brother Marlon believes that should be the attitude of every Christian everyday!
