I am looking for a woman who will first and foremost be honest with me. If I can't trust you than we may as well not be together. I also desire someone who will be my best friend as well as my lover. There is nothing like dating someone who you actually want to be around, and not just someone who you are with so you are not alone. She also has to understand my sense of humor, I constantly make jokes. I don't think I will get along well with a person who does not like to laugh. I have spent many years becoming the man I am today, I believe I have values and standards that make me a special person. I feel that anyone who lies, cheats, and abuses a woman is not a man. Even if you don't feel I'm the match for you, please take your time and choose someone who is going to treat you like you deserve to be treated, it is not worth being with the wrong person and being sad every day. ....Also an update, I have decided a few months ago to get weight loss surgery (Lapband), and I had my operation on April 30, 2007. I know this may not be the best time to bring this up to anyone reading my profile, but I feel that if you want to get to know me, this going to be something major in my life and it is going to come up anyway. I feel in order to be a better boyfriend / husband / father, I should do something to make my life more healthy. I plan on being around for everyone for a long time. I am not that type of guy who will be in your life today, and gone tomorrow. I don't believe in walking out on someone, even if things may not be going the best they could be, we should try to work things out and be happy together. The grass is never greener on the other side of the fence, even though it may look it at times.
I love Hip-Hop Music. I have been listening to it since kids used to bring cardboard to school yards to break dance during recess. (The first time, when break dancing was not cool, not when it was commercialized in videos and everywhere else). Some R&B is aiight, and lately Reggaeton has been doing its thing, even though I don't understand what they are talking about. =o)
My two favorite movies of all time are The Wizard OF Oz and Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory (not the new one, the old one with Gene Wilder).
