Arythmia started its course in early 2003 and has had its share of ups and downs along the way. Solid relationships and personal losses have been a big part of the strength and drive behind the band. As a band we continually learn from every experience we encounter.
2005 brought the departure of guitarist Dan Olson (Dano) and bassist Kyle McClleland. The change was unexpected, however we knew we would keep going. After the untimely passing of our original bassist SCOTTIE ALLEN (RIP) and with with two of the four current members gone, we knew we would have to start over.Steve Swanson, a friend of the band, had been auditioning for a slot as a second guitarist and agreed to join as the new lead. Things quickly began to fall into place, new material was coming, but we still had need of a bassist. A close friend (John Crumbley) was keeping us up with bass lines but had opportunities in Atlanta and unfortunately was unable to be a permanent member (haha you said member). We continued our search for a permanent bass player while continuing to write new material and we finally found the missing piece. We happened upon Chad Ryan "dahc", that had been looking to jam. Once we heard him and met him, we knew he would be able to fill the spot. Arythmia returned to the stage in late 2006 for the CIA music awards and have continued to play live at venues such as Club Fathom and The Local.
As it would have it 2007 has brought another unexpected change for Arythmia. After almost 2 years away, former guitarist DaNo has re-joined the band. We now have the final mix we had been striving for all these years and it is now time for Arythmia to come full circle.Check out our new tracks:
