Leah Tysse

THE DEBUT LEAH TYSSE CD IS NOW AVAILABLE AT CDBABY!!From 1994 to 1997, Leah was a featured soloist in an all-female a cappella group before moving to Paris to work as a blues and R&B vocalist for a popular nightclub. Upon returning to the U.S. in 1998, Leah joined the world-famous Glide Memorial Church Ensemble (www.glide.org) in San Francisco where she is a featured soloist in the 100-person gospel choir.Leah is currently the lead vocalist for The Leah Tysse Band (leahtysse.com) and Double Funk Crunch (doublefunkcrunch.com) and she does background vocals and studio work for a variety of artists.In addition to her primary band projects, Leah has recently performed with Taj Mahal, Martin Luther (The Roots), Tommy Castro, Michael Franti (Spearhead), Dwayne Wiggins (Tony Toni Tone), and Eamonn Flynn (The Commitments), Debbie Davies and Michelle Shocked.
