Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Jae Cartier has had a passion for music since an early age. Starting out with writing his own rhymes at the age of 11, he moved into the production aspect of hip-hop and later formed Mistalistic Productions in 2001. Now at age 22, his focus remains steady on becoming an established name in hip hop production.
