About Me

Layout Created at Mspremade.com
#1 : I'm a normal girl (=paradoxical/kind/mean/smart/crazy/psychotic/borderline/qui et/secretive/outgoing/insecure/determined/sad/ funny/happy/sweet/dumb/witty...). I don't think I'm particularly freaky, I'm not perfect and I don't want to be perfect. I like being different but I don't like standing out too much. But I'm not dull either.
#2 : I have been a social misfit most of my life, but it's getting slightly better. I still like solitude, although I trully enjoy company.
#3 ; Extreme self confidence is a flaw to me, and perfection makes me suspicious. I don't like pretentious people.
#4 : I try to take life as it is and try to make the most of every day.

Dreams :
Japan. I have been fascinated by Japan (Japanese landscapes, monuments, culture, fashion, cinema, people,...everything) for years now. I know my dream will come true. One day.
Los Angeles
San Francisco
and of course I want to go back to my favorite place on earth : New York City (will come true in 2008, hopefully)
If I ever win the lottery, I will travel around the world. I will stay somewhere for a month or two, and then go to another country. I will keep on doing that for a year or two.
Extracts of some of my favorite movies...

Books:

When I was a child, my favorite game was to read books outloud. I have always loved reading. As a teenager, I read a lot of French classics. As a student, I started reading English and American Literature. Now, I still enjoy reading but I have less time for it. My reading cravings are more sporadic. I can spend weeks or even months without reading, and suddenly, I open a book and stay in bed all day to read it.
The list of books I love is very long. I love novels, fiction, books with amazing, deep characters. I also like science fiction, comedy, plays, medieval French literature...

Paul Auster

Neil Gaiman

I also love comic books and I am totally crazy about graphic novels. I started reading graphic novels about five years ago. The first one I read was Black Orchid, by Neil Gaiman and Dave Mc Kean. Favorite illustrators :
Dave Mc Kean (Black orchid, Mr Punch, Arkham Asylum...)
