MONUMENT BOOKING CONTACT: [email protected] The band started in summer of 2003 under the name "Arise", after a few months and line-up changes we played one show under that name. In a short period of time after that show we changed our name to "Monument" and continued under that name. We thought that Monument was just a better name but it meant much more than that, it meant new beginning! When we changed our name we started to work more intensively on new songs, the songs sounded different and more mature. A lot of new influences were thrown into the music and it sounded better, it sounded more powerful! As we were growing up as persons we also grew up as musicians and our music horizons widened, due to that big changes happened, we were not this Old School Thrash-Death Metal band anymore and we were far from it! Music that Monument is playing now can be described as Death Metal, combined with Modern Metal, we call it Mosh-Death metal. To be precise it’s METAL. We recorded our first mini-album called “Evolved Self Projection”, it contains seven songs, it’s a mix of brutality, melody, speed, polyrhythmic parts and pure energy!!! In future we will try to play as many shows as we can because that is our main weapon and we hope that you’ll notice that if you see us playing live! In December of 2006 we played a show with one of the greatest Death Metal bands ever, we played with Vader on their Blitzkrieg 4 European Tour in Osijek, Croatia!!!Until our next show stay metal!!!!!!!!!!!!!
