Retribution

Retribution is creation of Ivan Kostic (Kole). The sound of this band is rich with brutal, fast and dynamic riffs clearly inspired by death metal bands from Florida. Kole started the realization of this band with a couple of his friends from Smederevo, SERBIA in the middle of 2001, and after many sucessful shows Retribution released its first full-length album "Fake Servant", in early 2006. At the year 2007 the band had more good shows in Sarajevo, Tuzla and the gratest festival in Serbia - EXIT. Nowadays, Kole is working on a new stuff for the next record...
FULL BIOGRAPHY:
At the end of the 2001, Ivan Kostic started working on the concretization of riffs and the arrangements and in the middle of 2002. the band was joined by the drummer Damir Adzic, who has already proved himself in his previous work with other bands (Psychoparadox, Alogia, Rapid Force, Draconic, Alister), and bassist Ivan Vasic (Alogia). At the beginning of 2004, Dusan Supica joined the band as vocals (Psychoparadox, Mindcrime), and jumped in the recording. In already clarified style of Floridas old-school death metal, the band releases their first full-length album "Fake Servant", in early 2006. Retribution is a real tribute to death metal of 90s and as such remained faithful to its genre with its album "Fake Servant" and now walks the ways trodden from long ago...

Retribution's video for the song "The Value Of Suffering", from the "Fake Servant" album. The video was directed and filmed by "Highlander Video" (Antipop, Demether, Dargoron...). It was shot in one old house, about 15 km SE from Smederevo. The house was built in 1939, and abandoned long ago. This place was a true inspiration for the director and band. Beside the band, one actor took part in this video acting Christ with a crown on his head and with bloody hands.
