Dark Planet is an up and coming underground hip hop group from New Jersey with a vast collection of recorded material dedicated to intelligent lyrics and all original music with very little sampling. Apogee and Flow Aphelion have united in their efforts to spawn this dark planet in a scene that has been highly anticipating a group to emerge from the underground and provide something new and unique to the hip hop community. Inspired and influenced by all genres of music this explosive two man group is drivin by the overwhelming urge to impact a lasting impression on the rap game, and make a solid contribution to the art world and it's culture. Apogee is the man behind the boards. With an extensive background in music he constructs his beats with a mixture of live guitar, bass, piano, drums, other ridiculous sounds, and pro audio while also adding his own style of ground breaking lyrics that perfectly accentuate the lyrically driven, poetic forms of Flow Aphelion who brings his own flavor of crazyness, origianality, and obscurity to this revolutionary, two man operation. They have spent much of the last year recording their independent debut album "It's always ill but never dies".
