About Me

Black Water, owner and founder of FloodDaBlockEnt has been in the music industry for over 13 years.  He has years of experience as a DJ, rapper, hip-hop artist, and producer.  He has not only established himself as well as his label mates, as a respected artist in the music industry, but has also expanded the FloodDaBlock name by performing at high profile events such as: Lj's in Charleston, South Carolina.  FloodDaBlock members have also been featured in radio interviews, requested to be on major national mixtapes such as Coast 2 Coast, and have also perormed at high profile clubs and events. Black Water was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.  He has sold thousands of copies, not only locally but reaching as far as South Carolina and Arkansas .  He has a high fan base following his progress since 2000.  He has been putting out mixtapes and albums non-stop since as far back as 2001.  Black Water's latest album and mixtape, Ready For Life and Blood Tears (respectively) have both focused mainly on his past and how it has influenced him to move forward in terms of his career and how it has stregnthened his love for hip-hop.  As competition to be heard gets tougher, Black Water stays true to his hip-hop roots by refusing to succumb to commercial rap.  His love for the art and language usage is expressed through his versatile manner of presenting himself and his passions.  As an upcoming artist, BlackWater singles himself out from the mainstream rap artists by allowing his music to present all sides of who he truly is.  He does this through his constantly changing styles of rap, hip-hop, some intimate songs(for the ladies of course), and even some spanish.  He thanks his family and close friends for all the support.  But he greatly appreciates all that his fans do for him and FloodDaBlockEnt.  The fans push FloodDaBlockEnt to work harder each day in putting out constant hits.  Thanks to all the FloodDaBlockEnt fans and please visit:  FloodDaBlockEnt.com
