About Me

Funky Justice first began to develop during the early months of 2006. Due to the mutual love of Jazz, Funk and Soul music among a group of young musicians.

After putting together a set of jazz standards the band began to play Weddings and functions a like under the name "The Lounge Leopards". The function business still thrives today with "The Lounge Leopards".

Still carrying on with "The Lounge Leopards" the band wanted to move into musical direction of......Funk!!! Funk had always been a strong influence to the group but; without the powerful rhythmic contribution of a horn section the band felt that they would struggle to create the knee bending juicy funk which was intended.

During following weeks the band welcomed 3 new members to the band to complete the line up of Funky Justice as we know it today: James (Alto Sax) Sam (Tenor Sax) and Jack (Barritone Sax).

Now that the band is complete and armed with a set of original and non-original material; they will be Funkifyin' a venue near you sooner than you know it!

All the band ask of you to do is to:"GET DOWN AND SHAKE YO' MONEY MAKER!!!!"

Peace, Love and Funk.........
