"Vivid reasons are a grunge/metal band from the North west of England. If you go to one of their gigs and close your eyes it is hard to believe the wall of sound that batters your eardrums is being created by a band with an average age of just seventeen!
Vivid Reasons are James - vocals, a phenomenal front man with the ability to mersmerise any audience, Sam and Thom - guitars, true foot on monitor heroes in the making and the juggernaut of a rhythm section, Richard - bass and Dan - Drums.
Their influnces are mainly rooted in the classic sounds of the early to mid nineties with names such as soundgarden, rage, pearl jam, and Metallica regularly cropping up in conversation.
The 4 songs on their myspace are taken from the Stolen Records released EP - Why should we fall. The title track shows Vivid Reasons at their most inventive and shows their willingness to experiment. The track opens with th melodic drone of a Didjeridoo, yes i did say dijeridoo, builds to an epic chorus and ends with a furious metal assault!
