November 2004. Once upon a time, somewhere in the huge virtual space of the www, three persons were talking about jamming together. They made an appointment to meet, but one of these three people suddenly refused to come (maybe she was afraid, we all know that not everybody in the www is Mr. NiceGuy). So the two guys, Chris and Andr.., met in Chris' cellar. This was the beginning of Novocaine. Only a few days later the guys picked up Elena, who hypnotised them with her beautiful voice, so that those three decided to meet more often.
A few weeks before Xmas 2004, a nice looking female drummer called Steffi moved from Berlin to a small town not that far away from Chris' cellar and was brainwashed to join the band. It was just the same with Pascal who played bass.
The band had to accept some changes, Pascal and Elena had left the band (tough timetable), they had to play a show without bass, but still got significant resonances.
Now that Novocaine has a new line up, they can get started with new shows, new influences and even more motivation.
Novocaine still has a goal: The band wants to show, that there is still music in the world. Selfmade music with intension, thoughts and spirit. While other people only play, Novocaine live music.
By the way, sorry for the quality of the songs, they were all recorded in our rehearsal room "Rat-Hole-Studios" with a single microphone. We're working on the problem, just give it time...
