I have been a working craftsman since 1975. Everyday I feel like I have been so blessed by passed experiences and techniques that I have learned that allow me to do what I do today. I brag about being a graduate of “The Institute of Hard Knocksâ€, but the truth is I have rubbed elbows with many talented craftsmen. Many of which I have met in the past but still continue to broaden my horizons by those I meet daily. I really enjoy making bowls and spoons. As they are of function on many levels and have been throughout time in every culture. It is an honor to be part of this tradition. Wood is a precious gift. Much of my work involves the recycling and reclaiming of woods on the verge of being destroyed. Thus allowing them to be enjoyed and revered for generations to come.
