Since the summer of '04, Coded has been turning heads all over the world. What started out as a few veteran metal musicians meeting each other via online ads, quickly became the summer's biggest buzz on Long Island. After a few short studio sessions, the foursome quickly developed a unique sound and had a set list ready for the stage. Coded took their first few songs and recorded a 3 song demo. The demo was posted online and started getting great feedback from New York to Texas, and from Canada to Europe. The band started hitting the stage and proved that no matter how small a club is, the energy the band and the fans create cannot be contained.Coded is fronted by Tamara, whose powerful voice, melodies and socially conscious and existence-related lyrics cut through like a bolt of lightning. The bass that Kevin plays not only holds down the rhythm, but also adds a thunderous rage to each and every one of Coded's already powerful songs. Holding it down on guitar is the amazing melody-master Jeff whose fingers weave a tale of joy, pain, sanity and madness. The last piece of the puzzle is Mike on drums, who adds a storm of tamed chaos without ever skipping a beat.Coded has received incredible recognition by the industry and the fans for their incredible blend of modern hard rock, old school metal, and cross over. The songs speak for themselves. This is one band that has achieved so much over the past few months, and they haven't even warmed up yet. Stay tuned for Part II...

Influences: MIKE -:- Drums playing since age 4. played in bands carress of steele, witches alter, masquerade, basket case, melaro, break the coded & immortally committed. also got to jam with metal monsters Hades a few sessions.
Sounds Like: JEFF -:- Guitar I grew up on the south shore of long island, I remember hearing the band KISS when I was about 4 and have been rock ever since, got into metal when I was about 11 in the vain of metallica, megadeth, and anything heavy and in your face. I've been in many band since then, of many styles, but none seemed to go anywhere other than this cheesy pop band, which I couldn't stand to be in. Now finally, back where I belong, rockin hard!
