Born in Roosevelt, New York, I am a classically-trained pianist, and attended Adelphi University in Long Island where, while rapping under the name MC DJ Flavor I met then graphic design student Carlton Ridenhour (Chuck D). Chuck D compiled DJ Terminator X, Professor Griff and myself Flava Flaaaaaaaaaaaaav!!!! to form Public Enemy and release our debut album Yo, Bum Rush the Show in 1987.I was a second rapper, as well as the drummer. Some credit me with the role of rap sidekick,,,,,But I credit my self as being the NUMBER ONE HyPE MaN!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAAAAAAAAH BOY!!!!!!!!!!
