Hey Big Daddy now has 3 grand daughters all together. Theres Madison who is 4 now, and then Emma and the newest is Marissa. Thanks everyone.
Ok "Laura" had her baby, Marissa this past sunday Oct 7th, which is also "Liz's" birthday. Was a little bit of scare. But mother and daughter are doing fine.
My daughter "Liz" had her baby. Emma, yesterday Sept 21 around 6 am. Thanks.
"Life here is Drag Racing!!" Thats all. Yes there are some out there wanting to play games, you know tell rumors or lies. We arent here for the backstabbing games. All my friends are considered special. If you just want to enjoy talking about Drag Racing then this is the group you want. Thanks
"If you dont believe in "Nitro in the Morning", then you must be a Redneck!!!"
First of all so there isnt any confusion over this. I am not Don Garlist. I know the man real well along with others but I am not him. Thanks
Hello to any one in Fayetteville, N.C.
Am looking for:
Larry Livingston, used to own a trailer park on Shaw Rd.
Ricky Alexander ( last known address was in Texas)
You are here because of "one thing". You enjoy Drag Racing. If you dont then apparently your lost. This group enjoys one thing the drags, some nascar or at least fast cars. Other than that unless you "believe in showing tit for a free beer" than you live a slow life.
I started racing when I was 16. The first car I actually started working on a 65 cuda. At first I didnt know if this was what I wanted to do. The lady said make it go faster. So by this time the 340 was in production, and so I took out the 273 and put in the 340. Ok she said faster, Hello new cam and intake and carb and headers. Well finally I just pulled the whole nine yards and built it. She liked it!!! In the quarter it did 11.9 at 118mph.
I'm adding pictures of old friends and family after the race pics, if you should reconize anyone please let me know.
Ok one of my all favorites was and still is the Altered's. They were wicked short wheel base monsters which you never knew where they were going to go. I love them.
Drag Racers are special, we're like a big family, hell I have helped push a few back to the line because he broke something. The early years were great.
When I first met Linda drag racing meant everything. In fact right after I got out of college I had to use the money I had saved to buy her engagement rings to get the 68 road runner, and it needed a new Holley carb, new clutch ect. Life then meant being at the strip every weekend. And we did. Ok Big Daddy has his toy.
Ok so now mama has to have her car, what did she have thru the years. I built her a 69 Dodge Charger, a 1967 Dodge Dart GT, a 70 Dodge Challenger we had them all. She'd come home from the store talking about "smoking some mustang" geez.
Have been there and done that. Grew up with fast cars, married, sold all the fast cars, have 5 great children who I hope will prosper and enjoy life to the max. Now I'm meeting some new "HOT" friends..
Best time of my life was when we were out in my 1968 Roadrunner, a state trooper clocked me doing 167mph, sent a message to me with a dude on a motorcycle. I blew the engine about 20 miles outside Fayetteville, called my bud Larry to come tow me with his 67 chevy II. Like we used to say "Drop a pill and spin some wheels". Miss that old car.. 600 horses.
Thanks to Ernie (T-Bone)for sharing his secrets. The need for Speed is still there.
If it doesnt thump and shake at a idle it isnt running right. Like John Lennon sang, "Why dont we do it in the road" Who loves ya, Baby..!!!!!!
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!

I'd like to meet:

John Force again but this time we have a cold beer and talk about old hotrods.
I'd like to find my old hotrod friends, Ricky Alexander that lived in Fayetteville. Anyone who went to Pine Forest Senior High School in the years 1973 and 1974. Anyone who used to go out to "chicken road" in the woods of Fort Bragg and drag raced with us.
To the dude who's yard I drove thru when I drove around his house a few times, sorry about the grass, man.. state trooper was chasing us. He never did catch us. Looked like a scene from Dukes of Hazzard.. Great times.

Music:

Ok I'll have to say my all time favorite band was the great "BEACH BOYS". I listened to them the most. Especially when I was in South Carolina back in the 60's. Phil Gomez and I with the ladies used to hit the beach and surf. It was great growing up there. We used to surf off of the Folley Beach Pier. Hot Rods, the beach and girls in bikini's.. Wow And many thanks to my daughters
for bringing new music to my attention: Staind and I still like Scott Stapp.
Best concert we went too was seeing
The Who. The 60's rocked the best.

Movies:

"Some good Science fiction..

Television:

"Beam me up Scotty", NHRA Today, Nascar, ESPN 2 for the LIVE coverage of NHRA, All the "CSI" shows, House, Criminal Minds, Without a Trace.

Books:

Does "Playboy" count??? hahaha

Heroes:

John Wayne, John Force and all the great gals on the CSI show's. check my DNA, baby..
