AKIL DASANnadyia jones born and raised in newark, nj. i'm a dancer/choreographer/actress/model/writer i'm every woman. there's nothing that i can't do. i'm persistant as hell and want to do it all so in the end i will have no regrets. i love my life. i'm in love with living. i love laughing and eating sushi. i've worked with jay-z, the game, kanye west, tyrese, beyonce', toni braxton, lloyd banks, nelli fertado, and glenn lewis just to name a few. worked with choreographers fatima, hi hat, eclipse, troy, tone and richmond, frank gatson, hinton battle, free, devyne, chopper,and aj just to name a few. i recently booked my first featured role in an independent film side trak Yeahhhh!!!! i play the trash talking girl shalonda (it comes way too natural). also be on the look out for me in the upcoming OutKast movie Idlewild. i'm one of the principal dancers; this movie is bannanas so go and check it out. Artist Kevin Michael signed to Downtown Atlantic that I choreograph for. This kid is a sick puppy so be prepared he's definitely bout to smack some people in the face. lol!!!! Ya girl booked two feature films in one month. Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Brad Pitt and Kate Blanchett. HAAA!!!!!! BALLIN;-) And another movie called Bolden! Tryna Hustle some Things;-) Both films coming out 2008. New Pretty Ricky video "Love Like Honey" Swizz Beats "Money in the Bank" Keke Palmer "keep it moving." All videos I choreographed/movement coaching. Just got back from the South of France with Wyclef. We filmed a video that I choreographed which was an amazing experience. Lucina was the featured artist that I worked with who is hot to trot. Directed by James Larese of Syndrome. Be on the lookout for the video coming soon. Booked to choreograph the play "Heaven I need a Hug" starring Ruben Studdard, Robin Givens, and an all-star ensemble cast. Tyler Perry's production co. Peachez Inc.is behind it;-) yeeeaaayyy. Just booked the new Covergirl campaign for tv, print, and internet. I'm the eye model for Rihana. I make people want to buy mascara apparently lol....Just booked to choreograph Trey Songz "Can't Help But Wait" remix music video for the Step it Up 2 soundtrack. Directed by Syndrome! Much Love. It was an amazing experience and we wheathered the rainstorm in the flooded warehouse;-)mad love to Trey for his energy and cooperation as well as the dancers....Make way for Ms. Jones. ..

My Interests

i love cooking and cooking for people. it makes me smile from ear to ear when they realize that i'm not only cute but i can cook too. Hmmmm. be afraid be very afraid. straight wifey material. Ha Ha!!! lol. i also enjoy children want kids someday just not today. very maternal. also love movies. i can go months without watching television just HBO and movie channels. hardly watch network tv. movie fanatic. i'm a home body love being indoors and relaxing and pampering myself and being me. also my final and favorite thing to do is make money. love making money and my bank account full. straight hustla ya'll. .. width="425" height="350" .. hmmm. i met prince already danced in front of oprah talked to sidney p. met puffy, almost passed out when i met denzel, george clinton was an nose opening experience if you get my wift :-0. peeeweeeww. i don't know who i want to meet. definitely not my maker. i think danny glover would be cool to sit down and talk to and get in his head and politic. he's deep. most of all i'm here to make meaningful connections in the entertainment industry. producers, directors, managers, dancers, choreographers, actors, writers etc. THAT'S RIGHT;-) YOU KNOW WHO IT IS. i love old school R&B not to crazy about the hip hop that's out right now i could do without. but i like the it only comes in need when i'm getting tired behind the wheel when driving and i need something more crunked to wake me up. be on the look out for that new Glenn Lewis. i'm touring with him now dancing backup. it's hot and that's all i gotta say. i like the fugees, talig kweli, moss def most definetly he's so freaking dope, lauren hill, common. hip hop with a message. not all flashy and stuff...

Movies:

the color purple, harlem nights, ghost, vampire in brooklyn, coming to america, lion king, life, big mommas house, blue streak, raw, you so crazy, flash dance, fame, the wiz, wizard of oz, mary poppins, new jack city, scarface (had to keep it hood ya no). recently napoleon dynamite, nacho libre, and the 40 year old virgin. and alot of people wasn't feeling this flick but i went to see it alone in the movies and laughed my ass off. Kung Fu Hustle that movie was so funny!!!! also dusk til dawn an under rated quentin tarantino film. he never let's me down. all of tarantino's stuff is dope. nacho libre, descent but my horror films my favorite for a long time has been seven and saw. i like ironic endings. it's just so unexpected. oh also unusual suspects, and idle wild cause i'm in it;-)i can go on and on. i'm done for now i still have more but it's way too much.SWIZZ BEATS VIDEO THAT I CHOREOGRAPHED.
