VECEY Was Born And Raised on THE SOUTH SIDE OF CHICAGO. He began to realize his gift to maneuver & manipulate words at an early age. He never showcased his verbal ability until late in his teens. Vece never wanted to be a RAPPER. The stereotype of a rapper never fit his persona. So acting became his new way of artistic expression.At the age of 18, Vecey joined up with the US NAVY, spending two years at Sea before booking his first film. Soon after he realized it was time for him to exit. Plotting and scheming, he found a way out the Military & booked his first film produced by John Hughes. The film was a success, but wasnt enough for Vece, his thirst couldnt be quenched with that alone. He quickly packed up and moved to New York City.His living situation in the Big Apple fell threw, leaving him homeless.... In one of the most grueling cities in the U.S during the heart of winter, he slept in New Yorks Port Authority. Immediately latching onto the phrase, If I can make it in New York, I can make it anywhere.While in New York, he caught the ear of Yonkers rapper, JADAKISS on the set of an Angie Martinez video, where Jada complimented him on his flow, "He's Nice". Coming from an MC of that status, whom he had always respected he immediately put his music to the forefront. Later on he signed a deal with the BAD BOY HITTMEN, though the situation didnt go as planned, Vece continued on his path with more Fire than ever before.Since then he has starred in films with Tim Reid, appeared on ER, Law & Order, Everybody Hates Chris, and thats just to name a few.
