About Me

The Bye Bye Blackbirds are a harmony drenched band of songwriting fanatics who marry their love of classic 60's pop with the moody jangle of 80's New Zealand, 70's countrypolitan and the lyrically rich, melodically inspired gems of any era.Our debut ep, "Honeymoon", is now available from the shop on our homepage, CDBaby.com and iTunes. It was produced by Beulah's Bill Swan. It features seven songs ranging from the atmospheric "How I Knew It Wasn't Love" to the Byrds-meet-Chills pop of "In Every Season". Special guests include members of Oranger, Beulah, Game Theory/Loud Family and pedal steel genius Joe Goldmark.
