My favorite piece of art is Bosch's "Garden of Earthly Delights". This painting is comprised of 3 panels & 2 outer shutters. The outside image, when it's "closed", depicts the 3rd Day of Creation. When "open" ... the left is the Garden of Eden, the right is Hell and the center depicts man's downfall in lust and sexual perversion. I travelled to Madrid's Prado Museum specifically to see this painting just to find that it was not on display because it was being cleaned & restored. Another adventure will come of it another day...
I studied dance for many years and even travelled with a troupe for competition and performance. My favorite form was Tap ...although I also excelled in the group with modern and jazz. My struggles were with ballet because my legs were never long enough to span an entire room length. My greatest experience as a dancer was an opportunity to dance at Radio City Music Hall with the Rockettes. I'll never forget it!
Organic & spiritually enlightened people.
I like all kinds of music. Some rock... definitely pop, hip-hop, reggae, disco, jazz, blues, trance, house, drum and bass/jungle, 2-step ....no progressive please.
I studied classical piano for 15 years at the Suzuki-Orff school and can play just about anything I look at without embarrassment. I studied the Flute & Piccolo for 5 years and dabbled a bit with the Bass Clarinet.
"Big Fish"... "Limony Snicket's: Series of Unfortunate events" :Reminds me in some twisted way of my ridiculous misfortune which usually makes me laugh instead of cry.
TV... who has time for obsessive tv watching? In the middle of my insomnia ridden evenings I enjoy Alias. If the tv is on at the right time I also enjoy 6 Feet Under, The Wire, PBS or the History channel.
"The Power of Now", Eckhart Tolle "Mr. Nice", Howard Marks Any title by Virgina Woolf...esp. "To the Lighthouse" Any title by Kurt Vonnegut... really, ANY title.
