Time has affected all of us regardless of how hard we may have fought against it. We're not hanging out in the halls of our old high school or spending Friday nights on street corners downtown. The days we thought would never end are long gone, if not forgotten. We've gained new friends and lost many of the old ones. If you're lucky, as I am, you still have a few that have known you nearly all of your life.Most have disappeared into the dark corners of my mind only to be brought into the light by an old photo or a surprisingly bad 80's song. I don't recall the songs sounding so bad back then. *laughs*Anyway, I'm here to find some of those that I've lost and make a few new memories. Life is too short.I have nothing against meeting new people. Just be respectful and tell me who you are and a little about yourself

My Interests

Family, friends, fine wine and fabulous food. Writing, reading, travel, living life and packing as many experiences into my days as possible. Forever expanding my horizons and never taking no for an answer. It's a constant battle to balance what's right and what's intriguing. My interests and curiousities are so varied that it's difficult to find friends that I can truly be myself around. So, I find many different groups and share certain parts of myself. I love the ocean, mountains, blue skies, fluffy pillows and scented candles. I also love the smell and feel of black leather, the sound of my heels clicking as I walk across a hard wood floor, angry driving music, and knowing I'm ok with who I am regardsless of what anyone else thinks. I can easily waste the day away in bed playing scrabble online or doing crossword puzzles. I think most everyone has a multi-facetted personality and they just try to squeeze themselves into a little box with straight edges to make themselves feel like they belong somewhere. I belong many places and I enjoy that. I love feeling comfortable in a variety of scenes and with many different people.
