i think tv should die..... i hate it more than anything! and it makes me sleepy. shows that don't make me sleepy include: scrubs, buffy, angel, the channels history, discovery, discovery times, and science. all things educational get me excited because i am, in fact, a dork.

Books:

~I read a lot, especially nonfiction because i am a dork. Reading Lolita In Tehran by Azar Nafisi (everyone should read this book--it's my absolute favorite!)i just started reading the Bhagavad Gitaothers: Persian Mirrors (the Elusive Face of Iran) by Elaine Sciolino and it's amazing House of Bush, House of Saud by Craig Unger and War Without End by Anton La Guardia, The Prophet by Khalil Gibran, Holy war and A History of god by Karen Armstrong The Doors of Perception and Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini Honor Lost by Norma Khouri, Alice's Adventures In Wonderland by Lewis Caroll, After Jihad: America and the struggle for Islamic Democracy by Noah Feldman, Love Is a Dog From Hell Charles Bukowski, and anything by Charles Bukowski for that matter... also: Edgar Allen Poe, Shel Silverstein, Henry David Thoreau, Jack Gilbert, Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman, Ralph Waldo Emerson, etc... i tend to read a lot... especially since tv generally bores the bejeezus out of me.
