About Me
I'm Nick Miller from Detroit. I began training as a master percussionist at the age of 8 under Djallo Keita and Gaylin McKinney, the daughter of legendary jazz pianist Harold McKinney. As a teenager I began to explore the world of producing and recording music as I prepared for high school at the Detroit High School of the Fine and Performng Arts (DSA). There I majored in music and participated in the symphony orchestra and the jazz ensemble with which I travelled the country performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City. By 2005, I graduated from high school, and had also performed with gospel artist Sean Hardin, world renowned jazz musician Marcus Belgrave, and Thornetta Davis. I attended the Recording Institute of Detroit in 2005, where I obtained certification as a recording engineer and music producer. I went on to do countless recordings with Sirwick Entertainment and performances with Eric Deon in 2006 before moving to Los Angeles California where I am still actively performing at clubs and churches and also performing live sound. If you have any questions hit me up.
