About Me

Long, long ago when I was a young lad my Mom bought me a snare drum to play in band while I was in elementary school. Some years later, she offered to either buy me a drum set or a set of congas. I opted for the congas because I knew our church drummer wasn't going to share his throne (drum throne). I played the congas for the youth choir for a few years. When I was 13, Mom decided to buy our church's old upright piano. My sister, brother, and I were carted off to piano lessons then. I was the only one that caught the bug. My sister and brother fell off. A few years later, I took up the bass as well. I taught myself how to play. My favorite bass player is still Marcus Miller. I stumbled into production when I met RaSean the Phenomenon at church. He introduced me to Bro. Stone. For the next couple of years I was an inhouse member of Unity Universe Music where I added production to several inhouse artists records. In 1999, at the final live recording of James Moore, I ran into an old friend that I grew up in church with-Paul "PDA" Allen of PAJAM. I was fortunate enough to be part of PAJAM's production team for the next six years. Most recently, I have composed music for several radio commercials, composed music for websites, composed onhold/info music for corporations, composed music/written scripts for educational cds, composed music for the New York Knicks poetry slam competition, etc. Oh, about the name "Reign B4 2morrow", it means the grind must be constant, in the now, so my dreams can take flight on the eve before the next dawning. How 'bout that. More to come......
