Trifon Dimitrov

Trifon Dimitrov was born in Pleven, Bulgaria. He graduated from the National Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2002. While a student he performed for jazz festivals as well as TV shows, recordings for the Bulgarian National Radio, jazz clubs, and recording sessions. He studied in Frankfurt, Germany between 2002 and 2004, during which time he was a member of the trio opening jam sessions every Wednesday in the world famous Jazz Keller. He moved to New York in 2004 and is a recent graduate of the Queens Conservatory of Music.
