I am deeply saddened by the death of airshow performer Jim LeRoy. I worked with Jim at several airshows last year and got to know him and his family. He was killed on July 28th in Dayton, Ohio while performing. I will miss him.

I'm a professional writer, historian and photographer who travels the world in search of fun and adventure. My only rule is to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I spent two years in college studying to be a minister, but that got side tracked. I still try to help others in any way I can.
I'm an award-winning actor and theatre junkie. I've appeared on FOX, The History Channel and A&E. On stage, I have performed in comedy and musical productions in community theatre. On the big screen, I had a brief appearance as an extra in the original Superman movie.
I love to fly. I've been at the controls of a Schweizer glider over the north shore of Oahu and a Stearman bi-plane over the orange groves of central Florida. Most of the time, I fly with my friend Trevor in his Piper Cherokee 6/300. I'm not a licensed pilot yet, but I have flown with some great instructors. I also enjoy aviation photography and have had many photos published in that field. Here's one of my photos of the Air Force Thunderbirds over Lake Champlain near Burlington, Vermont:
