I first started playing music in different punk and noise rock bands with a minimal flute skill in 1994. I was a founding member and percussionist of Katakali in 1995 as well. After this period I realised that working without a band is much easier and hardwares opened up a wider range of opportunities in self expression for me.
In 1995 I formed Astral samum with Kálmán Matolcsy (Ital water) and we made some dub and dance-oriented mashups with a PC and a tape cassette recorder.
After this, our paths went on toward different goals and I kept on producing music alone mainly in styles like downtempo, dub, hiphop and mash-ups. My ars poetica is to build a new house by stolen bricks - to create a new quality using sometimes obvious loops and samples.
Since 2000 I promote parties and used to be DJ-ing too, find out more about it on the page of my crew, Dub Székház. I play all stuff: hiphop, jazz, nu jazz, downtempo, headz, house and I have a pervert attraction to the hungarian dance music of the early 60's.
