Hi, my name is Don Porcella (Also Known As Waxhead). I picked Waxhead because I make paintings with encaustic paint which consists of wax, damar and pigment. I was born and raised in Northern California and I hung around the Mission District in San Francisco a lot. I am an artist living in New York City and I make paintings, drawings, sculpture, claymation, music, and more..
