Making art in my PJs with a pot of coffee and a room all to myself. Sleeping in until noon/staying up late. Long random walks. Long distance running. Dancing in unasuming clubs. Slacking off. People-watching in artsy-fartsy cafes. Taking in the visual realm with my eyes--just seeing and processing imagery. Learning new concepts. Sitting in for free on university lectures. Exploring music. Dancing! Witnessing live music. Singing.

Downtempo to indie rock . . . Jenny Lewis to Portishead. I'll decide after I listen. A lot of layers, emotional bluesy vocals. Into hip-hopish sounds: enjoy Honeycut and the Gnarls Barkley team of Cee-lo and Danger Mouse. just witnessed Honeycut at a 111 Minna gig. Love the keyboardist Herve.
Little Miss Sunshine, anything Linklater or Charlie Kaufman
