Rasmus Faber feat. Clara Mendes
"Demanda - Part 2"
After a full on DJ support all over the world, Rasmus pulls in a few favours for "Demanda - Part 2" from 2 house music aficionados - Salted's Miguel Migs, and one half of the S.U.M.O. production team - Alf Tumble. As you'd expect from a man of Mig's experience, his vocal & dub mixes fall nothing short of excellent. It's a real treat on the ears, and has all the makings of being a summertime dancefloor fave. Alf's mix brings in a breezy jazzy-edged vibe fused with a stabby bass…a smidge of electro (and only a smidge!) adds a jacking energetic flavour, whist the chopped up vocal adds a whole new direction to the track, opening up the floor to a whole new crowd.

"Demanda"
With the summer season almost in touching distance, Farplane's musical maestro Rasmus Faber introduces the world to the delightful vocal prowess of Brazilian-born singer Clara Mendes. She makes her debut within the scene (although you'd never know it!) providing an intoxicating performance of heart-felt lyrical bliss alongside the Latin-infused production - it's tailor-made for the sunshine (when it finally appears). Being the first "Rasmus Faber" release on the label since "Come With Me", he was simply itching to stamp his authority on release number 10 - so provides 3 equally brilliant, yet different mixes for the dancefloor to absorb.

UPZ feat Silvinha
"Mundo Infantil"
It's pure sunshine music of the highest order on here. Skippy sunshine
beats, sweet latin rhythms & infectious male & female vocals. The Latin Excursion Mix delves even more into the latin-jazz sound with a soothing flute solo and gentle tempo. Not to be outdone, Danish hot shot Ron Gelfer turning in a mix full of upbeat percussion, and a driving synthy hook that builds & moves throughout the track. Completing this package is the Rafa Remix, taking the track deep into percussion heaven.

Ron Gelfer feat Tiger Lily
"Your Beat Sounds Like"
With the Scandinavians continuing to heavily dominate the house scene, Rasmus Faber gives Danish producer Ron Gelfer the chance to shine on this whole hearted vocal outing from Tiger Lily. Deep moody chords brush with skippy, distinct beats providing the ideal platform for the strong yet graceful track. Ron ups the ante on his Epic Dub Mix, working in a whole heap of spine tingly keys and choppy vocal parts – a real peaktime gem this. On the flip, Rasmus Faber provides 2 exquisite remixes!

Linn
"Available"
Originally out back in 2004 on Swedish label Jugglin', sublabel to Raw Fusion. Rasmus Faber's delightfully tweaked mix also accompanied the release, conjuring up a mirage of late night soulful antics. The new mixes for the package take the track onto a whole new level. San Fran's mighty remixing & production machine Jay-J has enough ticks, stars and praises to his name than most in the business and here he takes the track upbeat with a fresh injection of punchy beats, a vibrantly charged bassline and a whole smattering of hooky effects and melodic magic.

"Ever After" (Christian Alvarez Remixes)
Farplane Records revisits its debut release with brand new remixes from Delecto Recordings front man Christian Alvarez. Punchy and vibrant yet still with all the good sunshine and uplifting vibes of the original, Christian has definitely delivered one of his finest remixes to date with a vocal, dub, reprise and that ever useful addition of the full accapella. This is a solid gold package that deserves full attention!

Rasmus Faber feat Melo
"Come With Me"
The much anticipated track "Come With Me" once again sees Rasmus Faber join forces with Melo. Having explored the realms of deep soul and massive funk and disco, here is the time for something different. Melancholic, yet driving, with a deep cello melody that could have been something out of the movie "Hero". Rasmus remix is a completely different story and yet another one of the worlds top notch production teams, Reel People, provide the remix of this one in their trademark broken beat style and one of their finest remix works to date.

Feet
"Nightlife"
This is the first track to be released on Farplane, produced by another artist than Rasmus Faber. The french guys from Feet have honoured Farplane Records with this beautiful summery track, vocalled by Michelle. A steady groove and well crafted song, topped off with a beautiful string arrangement makes this track a gem. Feet are also providing a bonus track in the form of the track "Bailar" with Rasmus on the remix duties.

Rasmus Faber feat Melo
"Get Over Here" (Miami Re-Edits)
Two mixes for those long summer nights, a true latin feel to these. Actually, one of them is downright salsa, done Faber-style. A good place here to mention Rasmus long time cohort, percussionist Thomas Eby, who has played on every Rasmus Faber production since the beginning of his career. His skills are magnificently displayed in this percussion mayhem of mixes.

Rasmus Faber feat Melo
"Get Over Here"
Here is another of Rasmus Faber's timeless classics. When released, the praising it receieved seemed endless. The massive arrangements of the original mix just blew people away, and again, Melo proved his right as a world class soul singer. As if that wasn't enough, a mix was provided by fellow swedish producer Axwell. He needs no further introduction and it is needless to say his mix of this track was huge. Later this song was signed by the label Azuli, who provided additional mixes, among others from Andy Cato (of Groove Armada fame).

Rasmus Faber feat Melo
"Never Felt So Fly"
Originally this record was released on Black Vinyl Records back in 2002, then licensed back to Farplane Records and re-released with completely new and improved mixes. This is a true gem, as much soul as it is house, and that vocal break that never ceases to amaze. Melo shines like the true star he is here and his smooth voice is carried forward by flawless production. The remix has a more afro flavour to it and the dub gives the record a dancefloor edge. The vocal break, added as a bonus track, rounds off the record beautifully.

Rasmus Faber pres Apollo vs Melo
"Divided/United"
This record is something so unusal as a duet with two male singers, Apollo and Melo. Both accomplished singers in their own right, here they shine together in this very soulful track written by Apollo together with Rasmus Faber. When first presented by Louie Vega on a Soul Heaven compilation, it immediately became a classic at the underground garage parties in NYC. And when it came out on Farplane it was an instant house classic. The remix and dub gives the package great variation and depth.

Rasmus Faber feat Emily McEwan
"Ever After"
The first record to be released on Farplane Records kicked the label off with a big boom. Becoming a big hit in the house scene and later a huge crossover hit in Japan, this song clearly has some kind of magic appeal to it. The sultry vocals signed Emily McEwan floats seemlessly through this beatifully crafted latin and soul-flavoured house stomper. Package includes a dub, a samba/lounge style mix and a cool mix by Swedish production wizards SUMO.
