In the late 2006 Adeline Supreme and La Fleur teamed up to become the duo Housewives and to make the floor more dirty and wet than it's ever been before. Their club "Housewives" has been very appreciated and has resided at Teatron, Trädgården, China Theatre and Berns in Stockholm, Sweden. This summer they will continue to host their club at the open air club Fredsgatan 12.
-Club-
Trying to add a tea spoon of humour and creativity to the scene the nights at China Theatre were based on various themes and named thereafter, such as Kitchen Night and Laundry Room Night. The interior was designed in cooperation with art students and the intention was to invitie guests to the very own house of Housewives. Guests were invited for coffee parties, home made apple cake or even on delicate pink coctails such as Vanish.
The Housewives Club is twice award winning for "Best Club", namely in People Choice Awards 2007 and now lastly in the prestigeous Scandinavian Music Convention 2008.
-Mega House-
Housewives have given birth to their own genre named Mega House, a melodic and groovy, both minimal and maximal mix of house, techno and electro.
-Radio-
Housewives regularly host the electronic dance music show P3 Dans on the Swedish National Radio (equivalent to BBC's Radio 1 in UK). Previous shows have included interviews with Ellen Allien, Nôze, Style of Eye, Jake The Rapper, Johnjon and Nibc.
-Pacemaker-
In early 2007 Housewives were the first ones to lay their hands on the Pacemaker and they have been ambassadeurs since then.
Housewives will continue hosting their own club during 2008 but will also make visits to other dance floors around Sweden and Europe, maybe closer to were you are, so watch out!
