Welll....y'all is nosey but fa reeal....you dont need to know that much bout me. I LOOOOVE football,am female 18. My fav ever team is Arsenal and i aint never been no glory hunter like sum of you i now see tryna bus around with chelsea shirts as i've supported them since i was 7 and developed basic understanding of things (yuh i was a slow baby ahem). My favourite footballer, well there are too many but one of my best is emmanuel Adebayor....not just cause he's good looking but he's a really good footballer and under Arsene, he could definitely tidy up his finishing and become one of THE BEST,
But N e who....imma just be informing ppl bout Adebayor with scraps of info i can get because i think a lot of people dont know bout him.....so dont worry bout me, this site is for him...ABOUT MANU- His full name is Emmanuel Sheyi (yoruba name) Adebayor. Well, he said in an interview that one of his virtues is kindness but also listed at as a vice so im guessing his over nice. *cough* so if ppls are looking for charity donations...ahem. Also, originally from Yoruba descent as he's parents are of Yoruba descent and from osun state in South- West Nigeria. However he was born in Lome,(accent on the e, going right....cant get the dang thang on) Togo on March 28th 1984. And it seems that his distraught faces and gnashing of teeth we see of him today when he mishandles the ball come from his eagerness to play the game which is evident in his early childhood. In Kodjoviakope, he started playing football under direction of his uncle Dijma Oyowale. This bits cute....but his coach said: 'Adébayor Shéyi wants to play all the time. He even comes to training when it rains, and when he is not allowed to play, he cries"(Akoussah Camélio, Director of the Lomé Sporting Club.) However, as well as being eager, Manu was also skilled and it didnt take long before he was spotted by the Football Club of Metz where he displayed all his qualities at the Professionals in 2001 and 2002. During a Metz-Monaco match, the directors of the Principality’s Club took note of him and acquired him in 2003 for five years for a little over two billion CFA francs. Basically, tryna keep this shortish- goes to Monaco- successful, low point at his career when he has a disagreement with coaches there as he spends overtime with his country-Togo. However Adebayor, is strongly commited to his country and professes he would die for Togo. Shortly after this, another low point in the form of a disagreement with the coach of the Togolese team Keshi. Im not gonna take sides and it is not really certain what was and wasn't said but Adebayor is not played during the African Cup of Nations and then finally put on. But the reasons for why he couldnt play are disputed. Adebayor claims Keshi tried to act as his agent whereas Keshi argues Adebayor picks when he wants to play or not. N E WAY......on a positive note, he is now at arsenal : ) where he has made seven starts- pretty good considering how many forwards Arsenal now have of quality and has scored 3 goals. Just recently though after becoming Togo's top striker with 11 goals, he has unfortunately not had too good a world cup. Commentaters often described him as a lonely figure often waiting for the ball....ahem shadow covering the whole length of pitch etc. And he himself said on the FIFA world cup site: 'I was always asking for the ball but unfortunately I didn’t always receive the support.' after Switzerland beat Togo- 2: 0.....yea...bad times. : (...
