Daniel Bruns

Daniel Bruns is the producer behind the internationally renowned compilation EyE-Trance. He began his career in the mid-nineties in small clubs in Hamburg, Germany.Here he was quick to earn himself a name in the local scene, pushing the crowd with his highly talented sound. Starting out under the name DJ Kellerkind (which translates as Basement Kid) in small clubs such as Tiefenrausch and larger ones like Gaswerk, he graduated to a residency in the Tunnel where he played alongside Ds like Timo Maas and Azzido Da Bass. After two successful years there, he moved on in 1997, following musical differerences with the club owner, deciding rather to open his own club at Camelot (now known as the GUM club) in Hamburgs Red Light district (the Kietz). The club was packed the whole year. From this point on he began to move around Germany more and more, from club to club, from Rave to Rave, progressing to the Loveparade 2000 and a gig in Berlins famous Tresor club.
Taking on the job as the club promoter for PIAS Recordings Germany, he released his first Eye-Trance compilation in the autumn of 2000. The idea was to create something different from the other compilations on the market at the beginning of this millennium. The idea was born, a mixture of Intelligent / Progressive and UK Trance. The plan worked and MTV (UK) added their recommendation to the second edition of Eye-trance throughout Europe. At november 2005, Volume 10 has been released, mixed by Daniel Bruns and DJ Taucher who takes you on a trip with his DJ skills.
Daniel's Music style has changed during the years to a mixture between nu school Electro and minimal sound with spacy influences which he is playing across Europe with the same enthusiasm as when he started in the mid 90s.

Am Freitag dem 20.06. ist es soweit. Groovekomitee rockt zum wiederholten Male den Waagenbau. Nach dem das Konzept bestens angenommen war, hat sich das Komitee dazu entschlossen, daran anzuknüpfen und daraus eine Partyreihe zu machen.
Dole & Kom haben den Anfang gemacht! Am 20.06. wird Euch Marco Morelle, der mit seinem Release, das in Zusammenarbeit mit Extrawelt auf Traum Schalplatten erschienen ist, euch, seinen unverkennbaren Sound präsentieren. In der Hamburger Club Szene ist er kaum weg zu denken, wo er unter anderem mit seiner Donnerstags Party Reihe „We love...“ für feinsten Techno sorgt.
Das Komitee, das aus den Residents Daniel Bruns (Deepdub Recodings / Global Process), Egoengine (Schranzwerk/Action Sause) und Tom Trevor (Strom) besteht, hat sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, Euch ordentlich einzuheizen und dafür sorgen, dass immer ein frischer Sound weht.
