Book Rundown
Diego Montgomerey is an avid jazz historian, a helluva student, a city-wide math champion, and unfortunately...a premature ejaculator (it hurts my heart to say it).
His bout with P.E., insecurity issues, and a damaged ego has forged a wedge between a perfect relationship with the shorty of his dreams, Roxanne Sophia Patterson. They decided to take their relationship to the next level...and let's just say it didn't begin or end too well. The self-deprecating Diego labels himself a "two-pump chump". Diego is so embarrassed, he pushes Roxy away. In between time, Roxy moves on and starts seeing superstar, prep balla, and future NBA poster-child, John-John Mac.
On the trusty advice of Diego's horny, hustler of a friend, J-Live, they invent an alter ego known as "Dr. Truelove". J's marketing savvy and Diego's exceptional writing and researching skills combine to create a popular sex and relationship e-columnist; Truelove is smooth where Diego is gawky, skilled where Diego is sincere but clueless. J-Live does his best to convince Diego that this is the way to beef up his puny confidence and knowledge of the opposite sex. Most importantly, this could be the way to really impress Roxy the next time around...if there is another time. But on the real, J has his own perverted agenda for doing this Truelove thing.
Will creating this anonymous sex-pert be enough for Diego to find his way back in good with Roxy? Does she really care that he's a self described "two-pump chump"? Or have the complexities of sex jacked up another good friendship? Stay tuned...
