If you haven't partied in Mexico with Lime Eyes, you ain't partied at all!

About Me

I won't say it out loud, but this is the hardest part for me to do...ok, here goes (oh shoot, was that out loud? You didn't hear me say that did you? My therapist is going to kill me--I'm supposed to think positively about myself). Ok, what about this: I'm a fun, caring, smart, independent, career-minded, goofy and slightly dorky individual who loves to live life, help others and be a good person...Yep, that about sums me up. :-)

My Interests

Music--I most enjoy it from the Songwriter's perspective, volunteering--I belong to Hands On Nashville, outdoor activities--camping, hiking, attending sporting events (as much as I wish I could, I'm just not a competive or coordinated spirit, so I don't play, but I enjoy most any live sporting event), traveling the U.S. and stopping at quirky roadside stops, being surrounded by friends.

I'd like to meet:

People that have similar interests, good hearts, know how to have fun, but also know how to be smart about it and most importantly, people that enjoy living life.

Music:

My passion is Country Music, but I appreciate & enjoy learning about other genres (though I'm not so keen on rap or metal) and THE 80's ROCK!

Movies:

Romantic Comedies are my favorites but I'm open to some dramas, suspense or comedies, not so keen on horror flix

Television:

Don't really watch much TV, but I am obsessed with the ABC Sunday night lineup: Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Desperate Housewives & Grey's Anatomy

Books:

I don't read much, but I sure wish I did. Usually what I find I read are self-help books or lighthearted stories about love & romance & beautiful places, etc.

Heroes:

I've always looked up to any sucessful female in the music industry, i.e. Donna Hilley, Francis Preston and Connie Bradley...it's such a hard row to hoe for us chicks, but the great ones rise to the surface and continue to grow--I hope that I'm one of them. My everyday heros are those people that freely give their time, energy and efforts to help those who are not so fortunate or down on their luck--I strive to be this giving. Lastly, my mother underwent a life-changing operation this year having her right foot amputated from about two inches below the knee on down...SHE is my hero because her strength, determination and positive outlook amazes me and encourages me everyday--I want people to say, "she's just like her mother".
