I’ve always had a dream; it was a simple one. All I have ever wanted to do was sing. If you ask my Mom, she’ll tell you that I sang before I talked. How you do that I am not sure, but she’ll swear it’s true.
That dream took me from the dusty roads of Ocala, Florida to the bright lights of Nashville, Tennessee. While in the big city, I graduated from Belmont University, worked at a record label and became a tour manager. As an artist, I’ve found these experiences to be invaluable.
Music is about so much more than fame and stardom. It’s about having a voice and being able to use it to make a difference. For a brief moment I can help others escape and find happiness… strength…peace…and love. Every song comes from my heart, where dreams and words meet to form a message.
Inspiration is in everything. It may come from a Sunday morning service or a conversation with a friend. The message is the most important part to me. All I want to do is share it.
