Old school hot rods, Poker, Playing hockey, Reading, Traveling, Hiking/Backpaking, Whatever sounds fun at the time really. Mostly I love working on classic cars and anything having to do with working on classic cars. Hell, any kind of car really. I'm happiest when I'm twisting a wrench and drinkin beers with friends while doing it. My other interests? El Mirage, Bonneville salt flats, and Vegas.
My Maker
The list is long but if you want to know what might be in my CD player on any given day....Flogging Molly, The Ramones,The refreshments, The Vandals, Enemy You, NOFX, Jack Johnson, Bad Religion, The replacements, Screeching Weasel, The Queers, Me first and the gimmie gimmies, The Riverdales, Teen Idols...etc...etc...
There are way too many to list. I quote movies all day long. Blazing saddles, Leaving Las Vegas, PI...definatly PI, Pump up the volume, Fear and loathing in Las Vegas, Midnight run, and damn near any John Hughes film from the eighties, there are so many more and if you just say a line from one I will probably quote the next line to you.
Family Guy, Scrubs, The Daily show, The west wing, M*A*S*H, Any number of Poker shows, The Simpsons, NHL Hockey and anything having to do with rebuilding, restoring or just appreciating old cars.
"Cosmic Banditos" and "In search of captain zero" by Alan Weisbecker, Anything by Paulo Coelho, Robert Fulgum and certain Jimmy Buffet books. "The river why?" by David James Duncan. "Pomona Queen", "Tapping the source" and "Dogs of winter" from Kem Nunn I thought were exceptional. Dan Browns' "The Da Vinci code" and "Angels and demons" were impresive works of writing and research which I would suggest to anyone. I am open to suggestions for new books to read. Let me know if you find a good one.
Dude, Your my hero.
