In the first place, Dorona Alberti is a performer. All she does is located somewhere between theatre and music. Dorona’s in love with old jazz and improvisation. She likes to experiment with her voice and looks for the possibilities that voice could give her. She’s the little girl with the big voice; always wondering for new sounds and colours. Her open mind and diversity is reflected in totally different kinds of band and projects, like KMFDM (industrial metal), Hobson (rock), Fairocious (singer-songwriter), Old Shoes (nu soul) and of course briskey and Gare du Nord. In 2004 she did graduate at the Fontys Rock Academy in Tilburg and set up a one woman show called ‘Mental Striptease’. Pepperoncino, noise and theater united! ?
