Sway...
In winter 2005, Sylvie Boisel made a trip to Australia and fell in love with this country. So, after a successful ten years performing, singing and acting
in a different genre, in France, she decided to swap Paris and the Eiffel Tower for Sydney and the Opera House, her humoristic style for famous French romantic songs, her clown's face for her heart.
If Sylvie liked to play the clown, it was probably as a way of hiding her great sensitivity, and to protect her heartstrings, which stretch to breaking point when she sings. Her heart, her voice both are beautiful and bewitching. In 2007, over just a few months, she sang for such prestigious events as The Sydney Film Festival opening night, where the feature film was La Vie en Rose, the story of Edith Piaf; The Wallabies' Farewell function at the Town Hall in the presence of special guest John Howard; the opening night of the film "La Vie en Rose in the Sydney CBD at the Dendy Cinema; Carols in the Cauldron "at the Olympic Park; and lots of corporate and charity nights and private parties.
She has successfully thrilled audiences, bringing joy and light to all.
Sylvie loves Australia so much that she translated I still call Australia Home in French
L'Australie est ma Patrie.
