BLAK-i

A new flavour in Hip-hop and Rap Blak-I an artist who`s love for music ended him up a song writer and producer. Born in Nigeria living in Europe. Blak-I grew up with a combination of African and western culture and that is the trigger behind his creative diversity. Blak-I`s EP ''STAY REAL'' was his first solo release. The whole songs in this EP was being written and co-produced by Blak-I. After that came the next experience which is the directing and editing of his ''STAY REAL'' video with the support of Olaf Christoph, (F.bas media) as Producer and Editor. Right now the ''Stay Real'' and "Never gonna give you up'' video Ft. S.O.A. is being aired in South African satellite music channel called Channel 0. It`s on popular demand on TV request show. Before the EP release Blak-I already appeared in 1997 on Northside-Connexion and also in M/V-Soundtrack in 1998. The same year one of his songs titled ''Da best'' landed in the sixth place in Berlin Jam FM talent chart. In the year 2000 he appeared as guest actor in a ZDF film called ''MÖRDERINNEN'' (Killers). Being exposed to different types of audiences, Blak-I is also experienced in stage performances. for example:Participated in concerts against racism and the less oppoturned (benefit concerts). Blak-i is always ready to share his musical message. At the moment Blak-I is compiling his album. It is an album of great expectation, just like life itself, filled with highs and lows. It is a credible combination of lifes elements joined together. Featuring artists like S.O.A, Dajoke and a lot more. Most of the tracks being produced by Fast.B a Producer with a lot of experience and dedication for his job. There is a lot of diversity in Blak-i`s art of Hip-hop. Its original and has a lot of soul food, well cooked beats and a flavour of dancehall African oriented Hip-hop tracks and a lot more. Very soon he will be comming up with his next E.p a joint musical force with S.O.A Featuring tracks like "GOOD MOOD", "NEVER GONNA GIVE U UP" and a lot more.
