Ainsley and the Porn Stars has now become The Great Escape Artists, formed in January 2008.
It will keep alive rewritten versions of the best of the stuff from Ainsley's previous bands, whilst bringing a level of visual and aural excitement to music not seen for decades.
There will be catchiness yet complexity, because the best bands can combine both to appeal to all listeners. There will be style and variety, because a band can have its own sound without quickly becoming a caricature of itself.
There will be meaningful lyrics yet dark humour because the best art reflects life.
Most importantly, it will be cunningly written by Ainsley, a vastly experienced and versatile musician, to be noticeably different yet very accessible.
The other Great Escape Artists are the wonderful Krista "Hotpants" Joel on Bass and Vocals, Benny "Silly Bugger" Damms on Keys and backing vocals and Shaun "ZZzzz" Butterworth on Drums and backing vocals.
Ainsley is a fella who's done about every job in just about every style of band ever, has played major venues nationally and played/recorded internationally. Ainsley also produces bands, and his guest playing can be heard on many releases.
