Liking the whole indie scene, plus of course the ledgend that is Si the penny whistle player who plays with such passion and conviction.
The Longcut,Cold War Kids, The Long Blondes, The View, Artic Monkeys, Duke Spirit,The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Beatles, Jethro Tull (a very hairy band) , The Kinks, Lucy's one man band, Vatican Jet, Jose Gonazalez, Ramones, We Are Scientists, The Kooks, Be Your Own Pet, Nine Black Alps, Kasabian, Forward Russia,The Strokes, Kings of Leon, Editors, Wolfmother, etc etc etc. OOOOOoooooooooooooo also Bedouin Soundclash, very good chill out/ reggae/ acoustic.
Movies:
THE PAROLE OFFICER!!! Tarnation (made me really really cry on the plane to Japan) ; Crash, Blow, Confetti, Kidulthood, Borat. The films by Michael Moore I totally recommend if you're into global stuff etc - real eyeopeners!
Television:
Pheonix Nights ; The Office ; Made; Mock the Week. And of course, the legend that is RAVEN!I totally recommend this programme if you're a bit down in the dumps!
Books:
50 Facts That Should Change the World , which can be found in the politics section: disturbingly situated next to the erotica section in 'Ottakers'! Crikey - what's the world coming to?
