Michelle Hutcheson

I’ve had a love of music from a very early age, being a very young tenor horn then french horn player and performing in brass & jazz bands. I am a self-taught pianist which is one of my greatest passions after singing and am in the midst of teaching myself to play the guitar. I joined Suburban Delay in 1992 orginally as a dancer (16) and then co-writer and vocalist. I originally wrote and recorded with dance music producer, Gordon Tennant. We, together recorded under many different names in the 90’s and formed various record labels: Jolly Roger Records, Jolly Roger Lite, Micro Dot Records, Universal Dance Records, Dance Universe Records.

I’ve now come to a stage in my life where I have a wide range of vocal ability from Classical, Folk, Dance to Musical Theatre!
