This is what Democracy looks like, this is what Democracy sounds like.

About Me

Not Your Ordinary Femme Bots
Not Your Ordinary Femme Bots was organized by two teenagers (Clarissa and Yasmeen) as a result of two beliefs:
1. We are trying to prove something that shouldnt have to be proven. Women are just as competent as men when performing tasks in the working field. There is no way to justify treating women wickedly just on the sole fact that they are women. N.Y.O.F.B. strives to establish a truth that has been doubted for centuries: Women are just as important as men.
2. N.Y.O.F.B. also wishes to service those are forgotten. The basis of our society is its diversity in peoples age, culture, and gender. But if we choose not to see that there is constant suffering within our community, then we will never be able to put it to a halt.
Not Your Ordinary Femme Bots will help in any way they can to represent those who cannot speak for themselves. We will raise money, clothing, materials, anything, volunteer in shelters, events, hospitals, organizations, and promote different kinds of art by the people. Anything that can help or strengthen those who currently have no voice, N.Y.O.F.B. will utilize to its fullest potential.

Heroes:

This is the Fuck box.
This is where we wish to give a big FUCKYOU to things we're against.
This week, our big FUCKYOU shall go to:
"H.B. 1215,"

H.B. 1215 was written in response to the rejection of a bill outlawing abortion. H.B. 1215 forbids abortion under nearly every circumstance, including rape and incest. The major instance where the abortion IS allowed is if the pregnancy threatens the mother's life. Even in this case, the doctor is told explicitly to attempt to rescue both parties.
H.B. 1215 may even threaten the legality of RU-486, an "abortifacient drug".
H.B. 1215 is known by most of the legaslative members as well as the governer of South Dakota as an attempt to overturn ROE V. WADE, which determined that under ANY circumstance, womyn are allowed to receive an abortion within the first trimester.
H.B. 1215 is hugely appraised, but still partly criticized.
"The task force report did not include the testimony of several legal and medical experts who spoke in support of keeping abortion a safe and legal option, leading to criticism that the majority report was biased and medically inaccurate."
We think H.B. 1215 is a blatant attempt to overturn Roe V. Wade, which is insanely unjust. A womyn's right to choose should remain hers. Government controlling a womyn's birth right violates the fourth ammendment, and is just a stepping stone to overall control. H.B. 1215 should be booted out, using the first ammendment, before we allow that right to be taken away as well.
