About Me

Patsy Kensit, whose full name is Patricia Jude Francis Kensit, was born on 4 March 1968 in Hounslow, England
Educated at a convent, Patsy Kensit started her acting career when she was just four. As a child she appeared in For the Love of Ada (1972), The Great Gatsby (1974) and The Blue Bird (1976) with Elizabeth Taylor
Patsy Kensit then went on to appear in commercials including one for Bird's Eye peas
Later in life, Patsy Kensit was to have a few famous relationships with pop stars, but her first pop star boyfriend was Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp, when she was 15. Kensit went on to marry Dan Danovan from Big Audio Dynamite (they parted after a few months when Kensit was 20), Jim Kerr of Simple Minds, and Liam Gallagher of Oasis
Having declared, "All I want is to be more famous than anything or anyone", Patsy Kensit landed the role of Crepe Suzette in 1986 in the commercial flop Absolute Beginners
Patsit Kensit sang "Having It All" in Absolute Beginners and for a while she used her musical ability as a member of pop group, Eighth Wonder

In 2005 Patsy Kensit landed the role of Sadie King in the long-running soap, Emmerdale. In an interview with the Sunday Express, she said: "I'm so lucky and so grateful, it's the best thing that's ever happened to me. Looking back on everything that’s happened, I've had some incredible times and lived very much to the extreme. I've experienced a lot of things personally and professionally. But this is the most content I've been."
Patsy Kensit took home the Best Episode award for her role as Emmerdale's evil Sadie at The British Soap Awards
The mother of two boys, one with Jim Kerr and the other with Liam Gallagher, Patsy Kensit has a Gaelic tattoo on her left foot and reportedly loves beards
