Working with various local groups and a mutual friend, both artists decided to put there Talents together to create the ultimate sound known today as ROKCITY. They have managed to fuse Soul, R&B, Rap and Groove into a creative mixture of Real Music. Both artist are very versatile in there arts. If theres one group that can represent their home town they can do it. This group is very professional and creative when working in the studio, but very comical in a social setting. We will now like to introduce LB & Lee Stylez the 2 founding member of RoKCity.Lb (AKA the Hook Man) the singer of the group has been singing since his childhood. Opening for local and National groups has helped him evolve into the great singer that he is today. Some of his influences are Stevie Wonder, Jodeci, Linnie Williams and Earth Wind & Fire.Lee Stylez (AKA Lyrical Producer Extraordinaire) the rapper/producer of the group. Laying verses on local artist projects and working with a national group from Kansas City. His production is impressive which also separates him from a lot of other producers. Some of his influences include Tupac, Redman, Jay-Z, LL Cool J, Will Smith, Diddy & Ludacris.Follow along their journey through the music industry and get a closer glimpse of the new stars from Kansas City, Mo. who will bring you nothing but real music and a unique look for the music business.
