About Me

My name is Gregory Blaine Carmack. I am originally from Datyton, OH. I am a singer/songwriter/musician. I write for a publishing company in Nashville, TN. I have a country/rock bank called "Greg Carmack & Overdrive" , we do family shows and dances where kids can come also and have fun. I have been divorced for 6 years and have two daughters, 22 and 26 and three grandaughter's 14, 16, and 7. I am a drywall finisher by trade. I have recorded several of my own songs and several cover songs by other artists. I play lead guitar, piano, and bass. My oldest daughter is a lead vocalist in my band also. I love blues, country, and old rock. I am hoping to meet a woman who wants a good man.Myspace layouts

I would like to hear from old friends and new people who are songwriters or mucic lovers. I like having fun and playing my guitar. I like jamming with other muscians. I like many things.

I would like to meet a woman who would like to spend the rest of her life with a good man who does'nt drink, smoke, or do drugs. A woman who wnants to spend all of her time with the perfect man. A woman who likes to go out and eat on saturday morning and go to flea markets and church.Someone who likes to take long walks and long drives and hold hands and slow dance. Someone who is romantic and funny.

THE URL IS http://www.myspace.com/gregcarmackoverdriveMUSICIANS NEEDED: We are looking for a drummer ,Bass player, steel player and harmony singer for the band " Overdrive " so we will be ready to record a new cd and be booked at least three nights a week. We play country, old country, 60's rock, blues, and some bluegrass. The band Overdrive consists of myself, my daughter, and my brother. I play lead guitar and sing the lead vocals. My daughter sings lead vocals/harmony. My brother plays rhythm guitar. My brother and I formed this band 2 years ago. We are trying to put together a band who is committed to playing and working atleast 3 nights a week, plus recording in the studio. We are looking for people who want to take this seriously, because we are in the process of talking to 3 record labels about a deal. My last CD is currently being played on 3 radio stations.
