Influences: This page is dedicated to Ana Maria Shorter former wife of great jazz musician Wayne Shorter. Sadly Ana perished in TWA flight 800 over New York in 1996. Having encountered Ana briefly at a discussion meeting in her home in Los Angeles, i was very sad to hear of her untimely death. I was compelled to write the song "Ana Maria" and was able to present the finished cd to Wayne Shorter at his concert in Berkeley Ca. in April 2005.
